Is McCain fizzling?

Saw several headlines about McCain's campaign losing steam. It seems a bit early for a campaign to go to shit. Campaigns usually start cutting their staff after a bad showing in Iowa or New Hampshire.

At the same time, it looks like Dr. Paul's campaign is growing...they're going to get a bigger office!

Sure looks like he's fizzling. I can't see McCain winning because he's not what the base of the GOP wants; they just don't trust him. And he can't be the "person of principle" that the base disagrees with but nominates since he's pandered so much. The base would rather go with Giuliani than McCain if they nominate someone who doesn't share their beliefs down the board...

did I mention my opinion on Rudy?

Your opinion of Rudy is crystal clear. He's not my ideal candidate for president either, but I think you are a bit harsh on him...
